I wanted to start a place where I could draw your attention to good, thought provoking articles, political and other wise.
After All, that's what I've been doing with Beaker Street for over 40 years.

I apologize for this presumption, but with the elections mere weeks away, I thought that it was well past time we talked.
For many years now, you've been voting for the Republican Party. Some of you have given time and money to a candidate, distributed campaign material, written a blog in support of the party and its platform. No doubt you've had arguments with neighbors, family, and friends about this -- because no neighborhood, no family, no group of friends all thinks the same way about everything, and certainly not about something as variegated and individual as political beliefs. In many ways, you've been dedicated to your ideas and principles and have done what you could to make them reality, and though I may hold some different ideas and principles, I do not hold entirely different ones. And I salute you for your dedication and wish that there was more of it in public life.
Clyde Clifford is the host of Beaker Street, a long running radio show from Little Rock, Arkansas. Generally thought of as a classic rock show, Clyde originally played many of the major music acts to Mid America. One of very few on AM to play "off format".
